“Mechanics and Design of Flexible Composite Fish Armor”

Interdisiplinary research in mechanical engineering and materials science. Researching bio-inspired composites and working to develop natural flexible protective coatings. Finite element modeling in Abaqus with Python and MATLAB scripted user subroutines and analysis. Experimental testing using a variety of nano-/micro-/macro-scale testing techniques.
